In conditions of increasing demand for natural raw materials, the problem of integrated use of all extracted raw materials and environmental protection is of paramount importance and is becoming more acute every year. In the coal-industrial regions of any country, huge reserves of mine rocks and ash and slag waste are concentrated in dumps. Significant amounts of money are spent on storing waste, and areas of farmland are taken away. Waste from the fuel and energy complex poses a serious threat to the environment of our planet. This problem needs to be solved. Scientists all over the world are conducting research in this direction. The use of burnt mine rocks and ash and slag waste in the construction materials industry is a strategic way to expand the raw material base of this industry and solve environmental problems to improve the state of the environment in areas where thermal power plants operate and in regions with a developed coal industry.
